NEW Dealer Academy (Class 1-25)

Description
The New Dealer Academy is designed to help new dealers, recent graduates of the NC and SC Pre-licensing courses (new dealer candidates) to be successful in establishing their dealerships. The program is a year long event. Each class is comprised of dealers from across the region. The course is a 10 module curriculum and is conducted via four class meetings during a 12 month period. Classes will be a combination of in-person and virtual formats. Participants should expect to learn how to build a business plan, complete the license application properly, how to buy and sell cars both in a retail and wholesale setting. Students will learn how to understand the numbers involved in running a dealership as well as the important aspects of building the right team. We will cover collections, cost controls measures as well as state and federal compliance. Additionally, each participant will be assigned a mentor dealer from a non-competitive market who will provide real time assistance during the year.
Cost: $200 per participant for the entire year
Includes in-person and virtual classes, program materials and books. Accommodations are not included.
